Merry christmas ladies and gentlemen!
we are officially on the last hours of 2009. EMBRACE IT, people.

this week has been OH so crazy!
but yesterday was by far the craziest, most adventurous day i have had in a very long, long time.

attendees: roy, pauline, mern jie and me!



i got waken up by mr roy ho and all his comments about my extremely hot burning room which i think it totally isnt hot, at all.



after some porridge, we were off to ADVENTURE PARK, KUALA LUMPUR!
woohooo! for some hardcore ALL TERRAIN VEHICLE (ATV)/ QUADBIKE action!



it was located somewhere in a deep ulu kampung place called KAMPUNG KEMENSAH.
it took almost an hour to get to the place, about 10km or so from zoo negara.


there was only ONE single lane road in that kampung itself.
filled with natural flora and fauna and more importantly FRESH AIR!
i never knew we could get fresh air in kuala lumpur, muahahahhaha!
like, cmon concrete jungle means X FRESH AIR. but this is the real deal lah, so dont worry, REAL JUNGLE.



on the way there, we even saw some cuuuuute kerbaus staring at us that smell like stinky fresh outta the oven poop.



ok lah money issue, it is kinda expensive when you first think of it.
200 ringgit malaysia for about 3 to 4 hours.
but at the end of the day, you'd think its worth it.

the amount of petrol you burn for that period of time, wooooh, its like going to penang already. =D =D =D

our route would take us to a lil action of hiking and to a dam. pretty cool route =)

we took a hike up a hill on foot

but more importantly, for 16 year old kiddies like us, we can't drive a car lah ok.
so anything with an engine and an accelerator on it, OH INSTANT ADDICTION.

at first, we were all quite terrified of that huuuge 4 wheels on that bike.
darn, the biggest thing i've ever drove is my orange bicycle!


but after some rounds around the training course and some practice with the accelerator and brakes, we were A-OKAY.

UNTIL YOU SEE AN EXTREMELY STEEP SLOPE UPHILL.
super waddaheck? how the heck this mini bike gonna go up so high?
then you just push your thumb on your accelerator just a little bit hard, lil bit and VROOOOOOOOM next thing you know, oh im already up there!

but the scary part was the extreme slopes downhill, yess like a cliff.
frikkin hard to brake!
not forgetting, sometimes those darn quad bikes, they skid!



with the camera strapped around my shoulders the whole time, yay i managed to take some pictures =) but prime lenses are not for places like this.

anyway, the ride was rather bumpy, especially running over rocks and tree trunks.
my butt would fly off the seat, just ilke sitting a see-saw!



despite the exhilirating thrill of this atv ride, it was actually quite dangerous!
the 4 huge wheels on the bike are to stabilise it but sometimes, you could get overturned, just like one of the girl in our trip.
luckily, she only suffered like ONE small cut and the guide went to pick up some tongkat ali leaf and rub on it =)
oh how the jungle is so self-sufficient!



not only that, some places were pretty scary.
beside the track is just a sharp cliff, without any railings.
like if you EVER FALL, its sorta like uh bye bye already.
and people do fall down, but none died hahahahah!

but the part i enjoyed most was when we rode on the SINGLE LANE tarmac kampung road i mentioned earlier.
we were going so fast and overtaking each other, almost like go-kart but much MORE FUNNER than go kart.


yeah sometimes, there were fallen bamboos and tree trunks =) DUCK!

but at the end of the day, it was nothing short of a REAL ADVENTURE!
although our arms were like super tired of braking because it was sorta hard to squeeze the brakes.
oh and my body muscles ache now =)


heh, we were sorta stranded at that kampung for hours.
imagine 3 hungry kids who have no idea how they're going back.
there was no reception on our phones, KAMPUNG MAH, and the nearest food stall was like 3km away, KAMPUNG MAH!

so the 3 of us totted up and down the road to the stall which only sells maggi mee, milo, tea and nescafe, which happens to be at a fishing pond.

after refilling our stomachs and finally getting one bar on our phones, we were calmly calling people and stuff.
til some lady fishing overheard us and she offered to fetch us to zoo negara because NOBODY knows where kampung kemensah is, NOBODY!

but we refused because she wanted to fish for an hour more and we just went on walking and walking.
she said it would take 45 minutes or so to walk to zoo negara.



and on the way there, the owner of the ATV bumped into 3 sad looking kids and offered to ride us to zoo negara.
AWESOME!
we hopped on to the back of this truck and just sat there with the wind all FUHHHHHHING in our faces.



kampung people are so nice i tell you.
they smile as they wave to you hello! back to when everything was nicey nicey.
oh and we saw like loads of chickens and baby goats just walking around everywhere, free zoo!



but what happened after that was truly awesome too =D

2 hours of pure zombie killing, witch-hunting, people shoving L4D2.
a mamak meal.
and then it ended with playing pool till 2am =) shh, dont tell my parents!
oh and we totally slept at 4 karaoking.

happy new year's eve =) because everyday should be happy!
