Christmas Dinner at The Apartment Restaurant

Hello all! I'm finally back from all my christmas busyness!
Christmas has been one heck of a jolly good time =), for i am a jolly goooooood fellow!

pause the moment and rewiiind back to the the 24th of december.
ah, christmas eve.

okay okay, I AM ALWAYS underdressed. i have that sense of couldn't be botheredness whenever it comes to formal events.
i go for the food okay =)

at the apartment, the restaurant is divided into different rooms like our houses.
bedrooms, bathroom and living halls - an extremely cute idea.
we got a table at the bedroom side of the apartment, the chairs were soft and filled with pillows, just like a real bed.



for christmas, they had a special menu.
they had a 3 course meal going on over there. prices range from rm60 onwards.

last year, i also had my christmas eve dinner at the apartment.
they had a 5 course meal.


pictured clockwise is king prawns with pesto, mustard crown of lamb, smoked salmon plate, espresso tiramisu, and tenderloin with bacon, spinach and shitake.

we ordered a whole lot more, but these 5 were the ones that hit the right note with my tastebuds.

but i have one disappointing thing to say, i thought last year's christmas dinner at the apartment was nicer!
especially the oyster shots, ooh ahh spicy!



but anyway this year's christmas even dinner was kinda cool too. hahahhaa.
we were just eating and eating and eating and eating.
and the servers came up saying merry christmas everytime he attended to us. hah.

after some shopping around the curve, it was time to camwhore with christmas trees just like everyone else.
hahaha i actually dont get what was so nice about the curve's christmas deco but everyone was just there taking pictures!

had to take pictures with our newly bought christmas hats toooo!



i think christmas is sorta overrated.
i mean, fantasy santa clauses and flying reindeers? oh please, we know gravity rides everything.
but like matthew quoted pastor kevin,
"If its only during Christmas that people's lives would be saved and that families would get together and have some time together, then its still good to celebrate Christmas right?"
