christmas gathering with mr and ms

over the crazy-filled weekend, a bunch of us did our annual CHRISTMAS GIFT-exchange gathering shizz.
compared to last year's crazy-running-around-the-park-in-christmas-hats-and-clothes to cooking our very own christmas meal, this year's party was completely blown down into minor bits.
all there is to blame is our extremely busy schedules and lack of effort put into planning the whole thing.

for this year's gathering, we had the same ol' bunch as last year's, with pauline replacing nikole.
mr ROY, ms SUE, mr YH, mr MATT and the newly added ms PAU.

cheerios, nevertheless, it was a crazy fun-filled gathering for all of us before matthew goes back to australia and before the rest of us split into all our different classes again next year.

it all started on a rainy saturday afternoon.
after i got my ULTRA-SPANKING-NEW lens from the camera shop, i was off to bandar utama =)
this year's venue for the gift exchange was IKEA.
that means, we get to buy each other furniture, yayy!

but before we embark on our journey to get lost in the IKEA maze, it was time for some refreshments.
extremely delicious IKEA hotdog, topped with dots of tomato sauce, sweet relish and onions.
someone give me a wooooohoooooo!

IKEA food is dirt cheap. you can't even get a hotdog and bottomless drinks at my school for 3 bucks!
and i hate to admit it but, the hotdogs at IKEA, oh they taste so much better than the ones aunty molly cooks at my school.

after some trash talk and EYEBALL GIDDINESS, its READY SET GO into the massive furniture maze!

as much as we weren't allowed to photograph in there, we just couldn't deal with the amount of mirrors to not CAMWHORE!

omg, jedida the ex-cheerleader must have influenced me with her dumb cheerleading smile.
its beeeeen way too long since LIVE.REVOLUTION AMPLIFIED to not try out my inner cheerleading quirkiness!

yet again, the MIRROR SECTION!
and we might have went a lil overboard with the SMILE AND SQUINT pose!

then, we stumbled into some christmas-wrapped empty boxes.
we totally wanted to smuggle them out =) over-cuteness.

hey, we even tested out the mattresses, sofas and office chairs.
just so we can find out which one suited our buttocks more =)
if i was with my family and saw a bunch of dumb nuts testing furniture the way we do, i'd secretly insult them in my heart =) NYAHHAHAHAHA. we did look like a bunch of kampung retards, like never sit on sofa before.

AHHHH, the kids section! ultimately, the best section in IKEA!
unleash our inner childhood and itchy fingers! time to fiddle with EVERYTHING in there!

roy was a sakai dog, i was a plant in disguise, pauline was a 1 year old birthday cake and matthew was a joker with black disgusting-looking things.

after picking up all our presents and whatnot for each other, it was time to head to the warehouse section.
it was fun, y'know. being pushed around in trolleys amidst rows and rows of boxed-up furniture.

uhuh and we totally got shocked by the amount that showed up on the counter.
who would have knew a few furniture here and there wudda costed thaaaaaat much money!
and who would have knew a bunch of kids had that amount of money to pay for expensive furniture tooo!

we actually took some time sorting out the who had to pay how much issue.

so there we were, 5 kids with 2 trolleys loaded up with giant tables, pillows and a plant.
and we wanted to go to the CURVE, which was so, so near, just across the street in front of us.
BUT how do you transport 2 trolleys worth of goods across a friggin busy street.

thinking of saving money and the EARTH, we totally didnt buy any plastic bags.
oh how dumb we were.
and how dumber we looked crossing the street with tons of furniture hanging from us.
EPIC MOMENT, i tell you.
just imagine 5 kids waddling all over the streets at night, muahahahhahah!

off we went for supper at MCD.
a bubur ayam later, they were shooing us out from their store.
it was already 10.30 =)

we then bought a small cupcake to sorta commamorate our christmas but end up leaving it somewhere.
and we went to gloria jean's because MATTHEW wanted to have a cup of coffee.

the night ended with a few games of chortaiti and stupidly daring hold em poker.
a whole day of excitement the next day =D stay tuned!
