Haha. 30mm on APS-C sensor (Canon) is 48mm in 35mm terms. That's like close to what a 50mm on film is la. In effect, you got a normal lens, not medium wide angle.
Nope......but u try to use a 50mm on a full frame thats like a 30mm....
SAM yeahhh! 30mm was the closest to the classic 50mm look. it was either 28mm, 30mm or 35mm =) glad i took the 30 f1.4!! =D

Haha. Sue's equation is like the mm on cropped cameras to get the same effect. If you do use a 50mm on a cropped, it's 80mm.
