Halfway throughout the cheer, my heart just sunk.
I had this sudden realisation that it was my LAST SPORTS DAY OF MY LIFE.
All the events culminating up to this very day. From last year's interhouse games to being elected as assistant captain to every koku period.

YES, WE REALLY WORKED OUR ASSES OFF FOR THIS ONE.

who worked their asses off the most?
YOU be the judge. not the teachers, not the parents.

I say, "WE HAVE DEFINITELY CREATED HISTORY".

May the best "house" win.

3 days 2 nights inclusive of sam sik cha, burning fertilizer, bee stinging, doctor visits, burnt fingers, dim sum and a whole lot of pet kok pet koks.

An Experience of a Lifetime

WOW, everyday just keeps getting better and better =D

I got several items on my BUCKET LIST scratched off with a golden star beside it, to represent my star material.

#1: run my first ever running event on sports day
#2: have a hundred people under my command
#3: scream till i can feel my veins in my head poppin out
#4: drink a sip of livita for the first time (i know, such a noob)
#4: not give up on my race or my team

What I can say about the running was, warming up was so clueless at the same time scary, running was exhilirating and fuhhhhh and the after effect was, Oh toot. an hour later, i thought to myself. That was my first and last ever chance to try for a medal in sports day for the rest of my life.

So today was spent bumming around with girls and balls and nets. (Oh gosh, what a combination)

You see, class photo day has certainly made me extremely vain. Aren't you so thankful this is MY last high school class photo EVER??

Look on the brighter side, I got to be in 6 photos. HAH. boohoo. front row seats for 3 of em. oh YES, im totally bragging here. BLUE HOUSE, PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB, STUDENT COUNCIL, CLASS PHOTO, NETBALL, MAGAZINE EDITORIAL.

Look on the dark side, my most expensive and precious lens had a 1 meter high free fall.
It cracked open and its guts (microchips) are leaking everywhere.

F1 Sepang Circuit

Yeeehaww! For making all of this happen, I'd like to thank Joshua Choong for the very generous ticket that apparently costed 700 ringgit malaysia, apparently.

Another first in HOR SUE XIAN's life, WATCH A FORMULA 1 RACE.



One dumb blonde moment here, I never knew F1 races were SO SO LOUD, thaaaat loud till you needed earplugs even if you couldn't physically see the car.
But it's all cool, that RM10 earplugs were in orange and it came with a metal canister soo, I was rather oh COOL!



The Sepang stadium wasn't hot, surprisingly. I wasn't drenched in sweat. It might have been the wind from the wooshyness of the 300km per hour machines. Never knew that, DIDNT YOU?



But after a few laps, I got kinda bored. It was just too repetitive for me. Those cars zooming in and within less than a second, they're gone. The next one comes right past you with an almost unbearable engine noise and boom, they're gone once again.

Oh, and you couldn't talk with anyone (loud engine noises, remember) so I was pretty much typing a message on the phone.



You can't buy food and hang around either BECAUSE 6 satay sticks costed 25 malaysia ringgit and bun costed 10 ringgit. How's that for some ultra rip off?



So me and Josh went walking around the place checking out booths and old F1 cars while catching up on each other's lives. (and taking pictures to remember our existence)



I was impressed at the management of the event though. Everything was smooth-sailing. The crowd wasn't even rowdy. I was wondering, since when were malaysians so rich?? THere were people everywhere! F1 tickets don't come cheap okay!



Cheers to my first ever F1 race.
Would I go again? YES if I had free tickets. Ahh, malaysians and their LIKENESS for free things.
