Uno Stackos and Boggle Swap.

Last weekend's birthday escapade.

Spent the day at Sri Petaling Hotel (because it was cheap and i'm a real cheapskate) watching Scary Movie 1 (fake boobs with water sprinklers) while waiting for Nikole to have her 2 hour bath.

It was 8 in the morning and the sleep wasn't even good. The bed was like an earthquake bed with a magnitude of 10.0 on the scale. Heck when someone moves the whole world goes moving with it. Totally uncool.

Got up off our big butts and headed to Taman Cahaya at Shah Alam where we saw monkeys! Real monkeys and pink monkeys.

After an hour or so cycling and trying to teach Faith and Yen Ni to balance on two wheels we unpacked our heavy backpacks.
Whoever took this picture asked us to look happy. I'm sorry, I don't make a good actress.

This is a picture of Roy and a picture he took of Emily with strict instructions of how to look like a lala. 30% finger pressure on the face?

Oh and we conveniently taught everyone how to gamble and do their 'poker face' mojo. Sigh, ALL-INS were everywhere. POKER FACE FAIL MUCH.
The game of bullshit was indeed very bullshitty. Look on the brighter side, when we grow up, we wouldn't get cheated because we already got cheated.

Our cute little picnic huts with bicycles =) It drizzled for a while and then the sun came out shining like no one's business.

Austin Powers and holding bei si pose + red shirted people pose while waiting for slow pokes to catch up to us.

The slow pokes were very slow..

Hey look, it's a giant mangosteen.

The super geng chow wannabe cyclists.

Aiya, cyling is just like taking a walk in the park.

This is Faith and Yen Ni. The two girls who couldn't balance themselves, thus they had to walk the whole darn way. Two sad little girls indeed. But they totally cheated by taking the tour bus/shuttle/thingy on 4 wheels back! and they even had the courtesy to wave and shout at us along the way as if they were the statues of liberty. OH come ON.

Again, without those two sad little girls because they were too scared to go down a slope. Very, very disappointing.

COUTURE.
We got a lift to Mid Valley and we slept on the sofa at the Gardens food court. How embarrassing.

Overall, it was an adventure filled day. It's not everyday you get to push your bicycles uphill and cycle downhill with the wind smashing into your face brakes-free. Kids, thanks for the memories.

THE END. (i need to sleep)

My Birthday Speech

First of all, I'd like to thank all of you for wishing me on facebook / sms / msn / eyeball to eyeball / mouth to mouth. Thanks for remembering September 24 as the day I was brought into this world and making it a special and memorable day for me.

But more importantly, I'd like to thank everyone for knowing me.
For every moment spent together, an hour or even 10 years together, it truly has been a real joy knowing everyone in my life.

I'm truly grateful for those who have been with me through the thick and thin, through the ups and downs of life's unexpected roller coaster ride.

Hey, I'm no SUPERMAN, but I hope y'all still like me as I am.

I may be seventeen but keep this in a corner of your mind : I'm still the goofy old me.

From your 17 year old sweetheart,
Sue Xian.

Big shout out to my form-mates on Friday, for the cake and the birthday song =)
Not forgetting the very pathetic fake cake (a chocolate flavored appolo cake with a huge chunk of broken candle stuffed into it).

I was being a cry baby lah. I never expected y'all to celebrate my birthday. I seriously thought it would just be another day at school. I would never in a million years thought you all would celebrate it during the last period and some sweet people even got out of their classes to come to my class to sing song blow cake.

and just so you know, I totally had no clue what was going on. I was just jokingly insulting all of you about the appolo cake. Never in my mind did I imagine you guys had something in store for me =)

Girlfriends and boyfriends of my life.

From the bottom of my heart, thanks a million!

Penang.

Bing and bong, there's a tiny planet calling, a new exciting day and we're on our way.

Last league of PENANG.

We just stopped our car at the side of the road, popped out and took pictures with the dam because my dad thinks its really cool to take pictures with dam.

We took a stroll along the famous Henry Gurney drive and met this silver surfer. He's such a thumbs up copycat.

The next day, we took a tour around the Tropical Spice Garden.
Few days later, I saw AMAZING RACE (caucasian version) and they were at this place. Woohee, I didn't even know they came to Penang. Makes me feel wahlaoeh.

These bamboo sticks were darn heavy and were about 2 storeys high? Oh wow wee, I'm taller than my dad. (uneven ground optical illusion)

Last but obviously not least, the best nasi lemak in the world RM1.50 can get you.
Nothing beats small fried fish with coconut fragrant rice topped with sambal. OH BOY. Got this at Beach Road, YOU GOTTA HAVE A TRY.

That's all for Penang, folks, it was really fun while it lasted, forcing my parents to become part time models because there was a real shortage of models and also educating paps and mams on how to operate a dslr was fun yet interesting to see their puzzled face, "why are there so many buttons to press!"
The food was great. It's really true how Malaysians eat only once a day. It starts from the moment they wake up till the moment they sleep. I LOVE MY COUNTRY.

Nike Air Fly Bold Sister+

I'm sorry I just had to splurge on some kicks.

Nikeeeeeeee Airrrrrrrrrrrrrr Flyyyyyyyyyy. (for added dramatic effect)

Total damage done to my future wallet (my parents cash is my $$$ mah) : rm 1xx.

They're more of a trainer than a walking around go-go but that just means double the awesomeness, so I can walk, run and fly with it =)
scratch that, TRIPLE THE AWESOMENESS.

Just do it.

Complete with Nike + technology (to use with the nike plus kit i curi from ROY), FlyWire (for added strength kononnya, my old nike punya flywire patah) and DIAMONDFLX technology.

Not only that, its looking OH SO DOPE.

I also got myself a real bright hoodie, so bright you can spot me from one end of my grandfather's road to the other end and still know it's me. Both my granddads dont own a road, but you get the picture lah. It's bright red (almost orangy) with fluorescent green in the inside (just like my kicks).

My original plans for this shoot tak jadi. My concept was to shoot with some bare flashes / whatever lights I can find around my house and have really bright-coloured background.

Couldn't find suitable lightings and props so I stripped it down back to basics. My camera and my pop-up flash. You heard it right kiddos, POP-UP FLASH aka built in flash.
Who said you need all this fancy wancy lights. Nah, right back at ya!

SIDE NOTE: I thought I was the only one in Malaysia with a Mighty Wallet but heck, they're selling it at Borders for rm59. I'm not so cool after all.

/fəˈnētō/

THIS IS PURE INSANITY!

It has been 20 days since spm trials started and it's not even over. TWENTY, FUHREAKING, DAYS. oh come on.

Yeah okay so we got pretty crazy after school today because some of us were just jealous of some of us who finished trials today.

Sigh, this girl does the silliest things. I mean, who would drop their bags one storey high.

Dogs licking some fresh air , woof.

Shereen, would you stop crying already?

I've updated the ABOUT ME and LINKS page. OH, click on it, you know you want to.

INEEDMYLIFEBACK.

I seriously do. It's been 2 weeks and 2 days since SPM trials started. Today was the most action-packed-memory-stuffing day. I miss waltzing around doing absolutely nothing.

3. MORE. PAPERS.

In memory of my sexyness (in case you forgot) ..

A few more from Penang at the BEACH FRONT CHALET. Saying it makes me feel rich.

CHECK OUT MY MUSCLES YO. No, I don't go to the gym.

Right after this picture was taken, I noticed a small little thing on top of a pole that looked like a camera.
Sigh, I hope the guard on duty understands the meaning of camwhore and self-vain-ness because. that. was. so. embarrassing.

Curry mee and Duck meat kuey teow th'ng for breakfast. Seafood platter at Mizi Cafe for lunch. Laksa from Balik Pulau for tea. Some Japanese food for dinner. Sotong bakar from Gurney Drive for supper. Maybe that's where muscles come from?

We took a long, long drive around Balik Pulau instead of going straight to Batu Feringghi. Stopped by some interesting sights, like this Air Terjun Titi Kerawang spot where we conveniently stopped the car at the side of the road and hopped out.

It was a very short walk to the waterfall and the waterfall itself was pretty, not so breathtaking and short. Oh well, it was fun hiking with coconuts, just to add some excitement factor lah.

If you think I'm crazy and always high, I think its gene inherited. Check out my paps and mams, there are other more disturbing pictures, but I'll save it for my eyes only. Me and my dad spent a couple of tries throwing our empty coconuts into a bin across the road, it was HARD. No gym after all sucks.

Oh well, that's all for today. Till then, ILOVEMYSELF.
