Switchfoot in KL

It's been 12 days that the event has happened but to make up for my unpunctuality, Switchfoot was that good.

It's not like I really want to stall but due to the overload of assignments I had to. I cross my heart!

First up, a blast of pictures because pictures make my life go round.

Oh yes, for about 133 bucks, we were that close. Explains why the tour was named "Up close with Switchfoot". Albeit the the concert venue being in the middle of nowhere at an abandoned looking building, I loved the crowd. They weren't as wild, desperate, pushy, annoying, rempit-ish as the previous concerts I've been to. So the concert being at a weird venue wasn't such a bad thing after all =)

It was only on the day itself that Ainsleyh invited me to the concert. With transport arranged thanks to my best bro Gaby, it was all set. Okay okay, I admit I am not a big huge fan of Switchfoot prior to the concert. I only know the famous hits such as Meant to live, Learning to Breathe, Stars, Hurricane and one song for the soundtrack of A Walk to Remember. So much for going to the concert!

But hey ho, I just hummed along and went with the flow, living in the moment. It was good, the band did know how to work the crowd and made us, the crowd sing along. Everything was just right - the atmosphere, the music, the friends and the crowd reaction.

The best part: I caught Switchfoot's guitar pick. That was probably the most ironic thing of the night, the random passerby not such a huge fan was the one that got the guitar pick in the end. All I can say was, I got my money's worth. That 133 bucks was well spent. Mind you, I'm a thrifty person when it comes to spending on non-tangible items.

Okay, there's all for now. I've officially lost my blogging mojo.
