It’s Friday the 13th. Despite being tempted to go all out blasting Rebecca Black’s infamous Friday hit, I shall keep it to myself. Although, I must admit that I can actually relate to the lyrics of the song, mainly the part where I look forward to weekends. Weekdays has its perks but mind you, I need some time-off to just stop and stare, reminisce on the past week and plan ahead for the week to come.
The past week has been a very special one for me. I started the week being exhausted and I had loads of doubts on whether I could go through the week alive. I had 5 assignments to complete in 4 days. The most I’ve ever had. It wouldn’t have been that terrifying if the assignments had the same criteria to meet, but a presentation, an impromptu speech, a report and 2 tests? They all had different requirements! Furthermore, two of them were group assignments. This is the part of the post where I stress on how much I abhor group assignments. NO, it is not because I think I am superior to the rest but it is the fact that it is a combined effort and we have to arrange our schedules to accommodate the rest. To a certain extent, I am perfectly fine with that, but the hate factor comes in when one team member is not willing to carry their own weight. Ugh. Anyway, here I am, alive, after the absolutely gruelling week. Not to mention, I’ve got 5 days of holidays.
Moving on, this post is dedicated to the 5 months of my life in 2011. This year has and will continue to be a blast.

This would be my first day at AUSMAT. These three people would be my first official friends.

These moments are just a glimpse of what 2011 has offered me. There are many many many more enjoyable scenes that aren’t captured in pictures. Cheers to what’s to come.
Holidays aren't fun when the rest of the world are having exams. Sigh.
