Time flies when you're having fun

I guess what they say is true, time really does fly when you're having fun.

It's already the 1st of May 2011.

It felt as if I just celebrated new year's eve last night.
Gee, how wrong was I thinking that last year disappeared in a blink.

In just 4 short months, I feel like I've done so much.
I got my butt into college, met some friends I could keep for a lifetime and gained new experiences.

I do admit, I am exhausted.
What Roshan said about time is true, you either spend your time studying, socializing or sleeping. Me being the greedy pig who wants them all doesn't make it any easier. It's a daily struggle for me to juggle between studies, high school friends, college friends, family, church, leadership roles, sleep and fun.

I don't want to be that person who studies twenty four seven neither do I want to be that person who party all night while sleep all day.

This is the life I chose and so I shall live it with no complaints.

I really don't know where this is going, but so is my life.
I don't know what I'll be doing next year, or for that matter, where I would be then. I don't know who I'll meet this year. I don't know what I'll achieve this year. I don't know what I'll be doing next week.

Life is so full of uncertainties.
But I really am thankful for the good uncertainties that come my way.
Take for example, the best weekend of 2011 has gotta be the past few days, hands down.
No other weekend can top of buying myself a Crumpler bag, recording a video shoot complete with fake dollies, playing frisbee with a couple of good ol' friends at midnight, attending Switchfoot concert and being the lucky one to catch a guitar pick and all you can eat buffet at Shogun.
The best part: all of what happened was either planned the day itself or the night before.

I love my life.

More importantly, I hope I can still say that for years to come.

Live the life you love.

Living life the way I want,
Sue.
